The only way I could circumvent this was to use the F1-F5 keys to move to a vendor, open one of the contextual menus such as the gear vendor via its hotkey and exiting out of the menu.
Camera functionality is restored for a time after this.
Also worth noting this only occurs when in first person on planets, not when you are free flying in offworld.
I have only encountered it on Vauldric yeah. This has not occurred on any other planets or stations.
Yep the camera can still be moved around and the player is not locked to the original spawn location. The issue sticks until you open a vendor's purchase/sell menu (such as the equipment vendor, cargo vendor etc) so changing locations on its own isn't enough to undo the issue.
The camera does appear to twist like it would if you were using the roll controls on your ship to barrel roll left/right.
Awesome work Trainwiz!
