Checkmate.
Yeah it was great, too bad it's considered too violent nowadays.
well lets see that 14 yr old white ranger blowing wind up 16 yr old girls skirts would be a few reasons, minor's promoting sexual harassment.
a lot of cultural differences that Americans won't get.
The fact it was a Teen show in japan and sexuality is more promoted to late teens.
and the series was turned into a kids show with mismatched episodes.
The green ranger was a character that died fairly quickly..
the yellow ranger had a crotch bulge. a lot of the reformatting of the show was rushed, the staff underpaid and upset. it wasn't a nice deal for the cast least not the original season 1-2 cast i mean 2 studios Making billions, while you the actor is making about minimum wages.
there are many reasons why not, but its nice to pretend its them darn american values.
Granted if it wasn't pushed as a kids show and was fan service, and anime like in plot..
it would have been laughed out even harder that it already was.
Back then doing that kind of show was seen and treated like a risk and waste of funds.
that's just a lazy management decision..
you can tell it was a lazy unfinished edit because they were planning to edit the cells due to the pronounced traced outline around the Onigiri.
4kids ruined a bunch of shows, but when looking at it out of context, it's gold.
Doubt forgotten, more likely it would have been translated by fans; it would have eventually happened like everything else Anime/ japan cultism..
Even if it wasn't broadcast on TV in USA it would have had a cult following one way or another.
I highly doubt the One Piece fans would agree with you on that lol.
Most Dubs suck..
DBZ being satire of "The monkey king" in some bizarre space opera..
So I would expect the hero to have an irritating voice with the brain of a child.
But Most Dubs are badly timed, badly translated, & 1/2 baked trash..
Animated Japanese cartoons is conveyed by Japan, and should sound like it was meant to.
