What about Psycho Rangers?

Ok, hear me out here. What if we had a Psycho Ranger DLC?

It may seem a bit cliche but let's be honest, while not the first set of "Evil Ranger Copies" in the original Zordon Era, the Psycho Rangers are the most iconic of all evil Rangers in the franchise. They weren't just Putties dressed like the Rangers or another group of teens temporarily turned Evil, they were their own complex multi-episode antagonists and they KICKED ASS!

They brutally beat the Space Ranger multiple times before the Space Rangers finally figured out how to take them down and even then the Psycho's refused to stay dead and came back as ghosts! And lets not forget that they were so persistent that they even jumped from their season to the Zordon Era's followup/epilogue season, Lost Galaxy.

Here's what I'd love to see:

Psycho Pink with the Savage Sword: Finding the Savage Sword was the final last stand on the the Psycho Rangers, specifically Psycho Pink when she managed to escape the death of her fellow Psychos and needed to recover, and finding the Savage Sword was how she did just that, using the legendary weapon to hold off the Pink Space and Galaxy Rangers before they manged to take her down, but not without causing the death of Galaxy Pink.

Psycho Green (with Supersonic Ranger Green alternate costume): A BOOM Comics exclusive character but none the less just as important to the overall expansion of the lore, once the Green Supersonic Ranger, he betrayed his team and became the Psycho Green Ranger for the forces of evil.

Zhane as Silver Space Ranger (with Silver Phycho Ranger as alternate costume): The iconic Silver Space Ranger, Zhane is a fan favorite and best from of Andros, the Red Space Ranger, another fan favorite. In addition he was crucial in the Space Rangers finally getting the upper hand on the Psycho Rangers by posing as Psycho Silver and throwing the Psycho team off their game by seemingly taking down the Space Rangers all by himself and boasting of his superiority to the other Psychos.

Psycho Blue in Monster Form: Come on, you can't not have a big bad monster with ice powers fighting rangers hand to hand.

Psycho Red in Monster Form (as a Megazord sized character): If we can have a giant Goldar fighting alongside Megazords than we can have Psycho Red in his monster form as a band new giant monster, spewing fire from above down onto the field below.

Astronema (with Karone as Galaxy Pink alternate costume): Last but not least, maybe the single most important villain of the Zordon Era and creator of the Psycho Rangers themselves, the evil Astronema, primary antagonist of In Space, only second in command to the great Dark Specter. An iconic and fierce villain, she started out as Karone, younger sister of the Red Space Ranger Andros only to be kidnapped as a child and raised by the forces of evil only to be restored to the forces of good thanks to her brother in the final moments of the season. Once restored she became Karone once more and a year later became the second Galaxy Pink Ranger after the death of the original Galaxy Pink when she sacrificed herself to take down the Psycho Pink Ranger once and for all.

Psycho Red has been highly request a fair amount of times. However, like Trent I don't think either of them are going to make it in by the time post launch content wraps up for this game.

Season 4, aside from Rita's inclusion, is so unexpected and weird it begs the question why they even have character polls.

I mean it's not like the game ever had a MASSIVE following. It's always been pretty small but the few people still playing it (Outside of a few problem players) are pretty hardcore about it. I don't think it's going to die any time soon, and I'd not be surprised if there's a season 5 down the line, or even a 6.

I doubt there's more than a year left in this game. Even if we do get seasons 5-6 I'm positive it will be more bizarre picks. I'm curious how much of this is Hasbro trying to promote their lightning toyline considering a few of the initial character choices were eerily similar.
