Anyone familiar with Unity modding? (Especially with music)
With the game coming out soon I was thinking about modding the soundtrack because let's face it, a lot of the tracks leave a lot to be desired. So I wanted to know if modding the music in a Unity game was usually an easy or difficult task and if there are tools available to streamline the process by now (Tools for other games, which may be able to help here too once this game is out).

Sadly to some I'm mostly familiar with MMPR's soundtrack (Hey I'm from 88 so MMPR was what I had back then). Also there's a remastered version from a few years ago, perfect to use for a mod, so that's going to be my main focus.

I'm open to suggestions though, even for a full separate soundtrack mod that features music from the entire PR history (As long as the end result is cohesive enough). I may also make a Sega Genesis games' music mod if I have the time down the line.

They do have an editor, you should be able to get it done: https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/

Does that even work with an already compiled project? Can I use the free version of unity to decompile and mode the game's music? There's a lot to read here so I want to know that beforehand.

I need something that helps me to quickly mod the music without having to get a paid version of Unity or to decompile the entire game just to swap tracks, and if possible for said tool to not to make me go through endless pages of tutorials to find what I need.
