Connection Lost Error Code 100 and 104

Has anyone found a reason for why this happens? Is it an issue with crossplay? I've been getting this issue since Day 1 of PC and I just ranked down because I got this error several times in a row. My internet connection is well above-average.

I messed around with crossplay settings and the cause of these issues, if not just a pure coincidence, is the crossplay. Connection Error Code 100 and 104 have to do with opponents rage quitting. On PC, if the opponent rage quits, you get a message saying they left. But if you play against someone on console, you get the error code again. This has been an issue for awhile now and I really hope the devs look into it.

An update I found after more testing. It seems Verifying the Game Files in the Steam Settings might help the issue. I'played 10 ranked matches in a row without the Connection error. I still think crossplay rage quitting is the cause. Error Code 104 hasn't popped up once, but I've gotten 100 a couple of times. 104 will take away 1 medal, as if you lost. 100 seems to take a medal from you sometimes and sometimes it doesn't.
