Warpath individual pricing with 1.4.5
"Added skirmish-style pricing for War Paths as a starting option: "Individual" is skirmish-like, "Class-based" is operations-style prices"

Can aomeone explain, what this means? Inwant to start a new war path and got confused

Quickly tried both, it seems in class based, a certain class of tanks (for example) is always 100 points - M1A1 is 100, T-72M1 is 100.... Infantry in an IFV is 75... on the other hand, individual price for a M1A1 platoon is 260 points, Riflemen in a Bradley are 110...

I guess with skirmish pricing you can field very few high-end units, I don't see how you could play an operation like this since deployment points remain the same.

Thanks. I though it would mean the purchase of TaskForces, but i couldn't see a difference.

But now it makes sence

yea, nah, TF prices look to be the same regardless. I guess with individual pricing you'd need to up deployment points in the settings considerably.

Does it count for the AI too? It seems that the prices with individual are higher

Maybe some of the prices are cheaper, like some low end tanks? Not sure, probably not. It'd be great to know if it applies to the AI too, but thinking about it, the battlefield would be very very empty... not even sure what's the point of playing with these prices?

Hello, mr. Dev? :)

Been looking for this, explains why the weaker AI regiments got curbstomped very easily even at Master

Really? They don't seem to have issues fielding masses of units, I guess their deployment pool is massive then.

Why would I use skirmish pricing, field a tank, an infantry and a mortar and be out of deployment points?

Every warpath I start with low resources I start with 600 what is more than enough to field a fairly complete assault force with skirmish pricing.

I've just played a Meeting Engagement in a Warpath. I haven't felt that the AI had individual pricing. If it had as many Deployment Points as I had (1125), it is quite sure that it had class based pricing. It advanced with two company (plus) sized teams (from T-80s to T-62s, BTRs and BMPs) at the same time, with at least two deployed artillery platoons (heavy and rocket) in support.

Indeed, they have way too much stuff for these prices. OR they have more deployment points. Maybe I just missed the explanations in the regipedia???

Well, it didn't felt too much. I also had two company (plus) armor teams, so it felt equal. Which is an easy case in this game.

No, I mean it is (maybe) too much for the prices to be individual.
