Terrible performance

I have a gtx 1080 and ryzen 5 3600 and the performance is terrible, constant stuttering and fps drops during battle. Despite this, gpu utilization sits at 60% and cpu at 27%. I've tried lowering settings to the the lowest and it's still stuttery. Anyone have this problem?

Hey mate. I don't really get stuttering but I do get low frames . It seems to be a common theme with other players . Surprisingly for somebody who is usually really sensitive to framerate drops it doesnt bother me as much as in other games. I think its just a optimization issue .

I have a pretty simiar system 3600/1070 and i get around 80-130fps in intense combat situations with maxed out graphics.

Got this game when it first appeared, had problems trying to work the camera controls (I have played many RTS games over the years) shelved it for a few months, had another go today to get some decent control over it, but gave up halfway through the tutorial, main problems being: Fonts too small, Poor tinny sound even with speakers, and poor camera control...like i said i have played better RTS games over the years. time to uninstall this again.

Performance in the demo is strangely bad. Disappointing.

i have a 1060 & it runs fine for me on high settings. only things i dont have maxed out are anti-aliasing (next to highest setting) vsync & motion blur (both off)

It ran about 60-ish FPS on an old 4790k and 1060, high settings mostly.

it runs fine for me on old i5 3570K and Vega 64 (equivalent to GTX1080)

But I get framerate cut in half whenever I use the vision/range tool as it just skyrockets the CPU usage.

Check if you have correct display resolution settings ingame.
I have 144Hz monitor, but for some reason, the game was set to 1920x1080@50Hz and I had to manualy change it to 1920x1080@144Hz.

Before I did that, I also had issue with very noticeable stutters and after the change, the game was immediately smooth without issues.
