Any Plans for Co-op at least?
Love this game. Are there any plans for two player campaigns?

No, Regiments is entirely singleplayer and will remain so.

No more an oversight that it not being a completely different game and bending to your subjective will.

I think people believe that if they ask enough times it will happen. Since day 1, it has been clearly stated that this is a Single Player game. No Multiplayer. No Co-op. Don't like that? Don't buy it.

That is a mistake to not include any kind of multiplayer.

Yeah, it's gonna pull a Syrian Warfare, sadly. Real shame, I had a lot of fun with the play test but there's just no replayability for a single player only RTS, it's kind of utterly ludicrous really. AI are just way too stupid to be enjoyable to fight. Even in the play test the fun starts falling off a cliff once you understand that the AI just mindlessly charges at you for the most part and there's really no intelligence at all behind it's actions. I have a hard time seeing myself playing with that for an entire campaign, let alone multiple times.

There's only so much diversity of play you can get from having more divisions when every fight ultimately goes exactly the same.

I agree with every word here!

Not everything has to be multiplayer and MP tends to harm SP content as balancing for MP is different than Balancing for SP. Good thing is that Wargame and now WRNO (EA) is MP focused for those that enjoy those. Its nice for us SP players to have something as well however.

Games like World in Conflict are pretty good evidence you can have your cake and eat it too, though. A singleplayer RTS just doesn't really make much sense, as a strategy game where you're going to effectively be up against the same exact strategy every time isn't going to be very fun for very long...

This has been discussed ad nauseam - refer to the previous threads for detailed answers.

The key point is: Adding MP will take at least an additional year and there are no plans to delay the game so much.
