This isn't a game, but an interactive movie. That kinda answers the question. What actually can extend that time is whether or not you can fast forward or skip you've already seen.

Took me just under two hours for the first time I played, and I kept the pause option on choices active so I could write down notes for future playthroughs. Completed all 9 endings in 3.5 hours.

I think I'ma pass on this and just watch the full movie + alternate endings on the web. This should have been on netflix instead, bandersnatch was pretty nice!

The Complex typically runs for about 90 minutes. Within those 90 minutes, there is an auto-save for every Chapter. There are 8 Chapters. So expect a window of about 8-15 minutes per save, depending on the length of Chapter. After your first playthrough, you are given the Skip Scene feature.
