Meta hmds may experience quite bad performance if only SteamVR drivers are supported:
https://www.reddit.com/r/ValveIndex/comments/tzq3m7/using_similar_res_index_is_30_40_faster_than/
If Lonn devs want to make Meta hmd users happy, please support native Oculus driver - like Hitman 3 VR and Green Hell VR - and Kayak VR :-)
We currently use SteamVR Plugin and also OPENXR Plugin for Unreal Engine.
I've developed with the Meta Quest 2 and Valve Index.
Just one question, I'm running SteamVR res 250% - and have the in-game res setting pushed to the max. Did go for 80 Hz and deactivated motion smoothing. How much res does the slider add at the max?
I wondering if I'm way above res 250% if the settings are multiplied...
I'm using an oc'ed 3090.
That's so good to hear!
The render resolution goes to 1.0 which In Unreal is 100% screen percentage.
This is a little bit of an older post but you can see here how the vr.PixelDensity at 1 accounts for the ideal resolution of headsets.

I hope this helps!
I'm impressed with the textures, close to Alyx quality and generally better than Boneworks.
Also nice to have some real lights. Lights in Bonelab and Red Matter 2 do not illuminate objects, but are just fake lights - so great to see real lighting in Lonn. Would have loved some real-time shadows though ;-)
Btw, it would be nice with a button to access the menu, maybe use the Index trackpad for that?
I really wanted to use more real time shadows but it was very technically challenging to balance the performance. In certain scenes we used a few real time shadows mostly with the sequence moments.
On my Valve Index I was able to press the track pad. Let me know if that works for you. It was the right trackpad pushed down and the menu will appear.
Ok, great, maybe I did not press it long enough. I'll test it tomorrow (it's 11:45 PM here in Scandinavia, so I better get some sleep :-)
I'm sure shadows would be taxing, and of course you need to have the game running well on many different rigs.
