OUTBRK
Things that should be in the game
i played over 60 hours and these are some things in my opinion that should be in the game.
- More road options- We got decent options now but some parts of the map there are little to no road leading towards the tornado and preventing an intercept.

_ Radio Emergency Broadcast- This is something that feeds into the adrenaline of this game. Now we have a message saying tornado warning. We need the exact same warnings via radio as in real life! Hearing the broadcast with that specific noise gives me goosebumps and will add to immersion.

- Spare jerry cans- Could be bought at a gas station and stored in the trunk of the vehicle.

- A working GPS system- Currently driving and checking the map isnt bad, but it isnt perfect either. Lets us set a route which will be shown on the laptop inside the vehicle.

- More probes to deploy- Ever watch Tim Samaras? you see him and his team deploying mutliple probes in the same tornado to get better data and understanding of the storm. ( of course depending on your current vehicle what is the max amount of probes you can deploy)

- A better camera- And with this i mean depending on the storm you are chasing, if it has alot of debris in it and take photos, those photos should give you better points for it.

- Shelfcloud and alien spaceship supercells- Would be really awesome to make pictures of these in game

- Underground shelters - These are missing in the game, and adds to immersion alot i think. For example: you chasing a tornado that enters a city but because of all the excitment your fuel runs out. It will give the player a safe area to wait out the tornado till it passes.

- More photo options- And with this i mean for example; A tornado just destroyed a town or city, Taking photos of the destruction can earn you cash depending on the scale of destruction

- Maybe an aid systerm_ Where we can help people who just got hit by a tornado. We could take pictures of the location, upload them via the ingame phone so emergencie services can go assist the ones who got hit.

For now i cant think of anything else. I also wanna thank the devs for this game, because personally this is a dream coming true, always wanted a game where we can chase tornadoes. So yeah devs keep it going like this because we all appreciat the time and effort that has and still is being put in this game. Cant wait what happens in the future!

GPS would be amazing! my eyes are terrible so I have to zoom all the way in and still mess it up, unless I have someone to follow I never get to intercept because of this lol.
GPS is needed i can agree with that one.

More probes being an option would be nice also.

I could see the EAS sound bit getting annoying hearing it every two minutes.

Gas usage is part of the strategy of when and where to travel and I kinda enjoy the aspect of having to keep an eye on it.

One of the things that I can add to this list the OP hasn't thought of is very noticeable different hail sizes (and damage modifiers) and the ability to report and photograph large hail.

Underground shelters would not really be something that I would use in game personally.

I may get more ideas in the future but for now this is it besides...

I do think the complaints previously mentioned by many should take priority over these things. (besides GPS, maybe) It is just a personal opinion though.

I find the game playable, and enjoyable as it is, but, welcome additional efforts and additions, whatever they may be.

I am also quite excited to watch things grow into what they become.

yeah it takes a time to get used to use the map and drive at the same time. i always try to be in front of the storm and check via radar where it is going and try to predict where the tornado will touch down so i can place a probe.

yeah i can understand it with the EAS maybe getting annoying.
And your hail idea sounds really good though.
Most of these suggestions are just personal things i like though. Of course the complaints and such should be priority, but for now im glad we already got some extra stuff in the game, i really enjoy it alot!

EAS are illegal to use outside of official emergencies.

New camera design system is already in progress. The design is done, programming and stuff will start after our current high priority tasks are completed. https://trello.com/c/ByFjZ5Xa/1145-camera-game-system-improvement-design-only

More roads are planned, not officially listed but can be assumed to be part of this task https://trello.com/c/ZfqZaMhO/381-world-design-in-between-towns-3rd-pass

The probe gameplay will change here, design already complete, probes will be different from each others, etc. more probe TBD : https://trello.com/c/zcGGNJO8/1207-probe-gameplay-revamp

GPS is soft-planned because its not trivial to implement but we have started some preliminary steps to support it in the future.

Gas canisters are not planned because we want players to have to stop to a gas station during a chase, thats why we made the tow feature. Plan your route correctly. Different cars also have different fuel capacity etc.

Underground shelters are not really for storm chasers either, its not something we're going to do.

ooh my bad i didnt know using the EAS outside real life is illigal, im from the Netherlands so i didnt know about that. ITs cool to see that most of the things are already being worked on! Those were just some of my thoughts of the game. For the rest you guys keep up the good work! Every session i play my adrenaline starts to rush like crazy! especially when you deploy in the path of the tornado and you feel the outer circulation hitting you! Once again thank you and we cant wait to see what this brings in the future. Never stop chasing!!!

None of the games are trash. Outbrk is a storm chasing simulator and twisted is not. if you compare the two. Outrbrk regquires radar knowledge and planning whilst in my opinion twisted is just drive and deploy. theres no planning on radar . NO cap or winshear available, while Outbrk has those options, while in twisted you just wait for a tornado warning, most of the storms look the same on radar. In Outbrk you get a better understanding of how the storm develops and where it is going and there are alot of different scenarios. I played both and for me Outbrk is just the better. more realistic storm chasing game then Twisted. But this is just my personal opinion.

As someone who has been within a mile or two of an EF5 tornado, they should add the creepy green sky on monster tornadoes.
They need to add more EF3 + tornadoes, sick of always chasing these EF0 or EF1 ropes.

GOD BLESS!!!!
bunkers should be necesarry
and gps would help more than anything in that game

i think having a decently laid out career mode for solo chase or multiplayer would help a lot. like cyberpunk having 3 paths to start of you game which makes it a new experience each play though. it would be cool to have some sort of career where you can chose to be an amateur , local new station, NWS, larger national news , type of paths where you can potentially sign contracts with new stations to get footage and pictures and maybe some backing like having a car or suv with a camera and or laptop already in it, and maybe a NWS approach where you focus more on the science of tornadoes and you are focusing more on the probing side of things. maybe amateur chasing can get you bonuses since you are selling data from probes as well as footage and pictures of the storms and damage yet you are more on your own with just your car and your own money

One thing I realized would be nice while playing would be damage to your car (like the hail does) except due to debris from being too close to a tornado.
check out the path managment in the game Snow runner. I think that will help alot more than a GPS
