OUTBRK
625 square Kilometers
This is 25 miles in all directions. This is half the size of the county I live in.

Just ... no. I taught severe weather analysis and forecasting for many years. I was nominated for the Charles L. Mitchell Award from the American Meteorological Society for a point warning tornado forecast, more than 40 years ago.

The entire premise of this game is absurd. A "supercell" will rob surrounding cells, and become a single, discrete entity. It will be the ONLY severe storm for the entire 625 square kilometers.

All that is left is to approach the cell from the south or southwest. That's it. Trivial. Any doofus that comes in through the torrential rain, or "core punches" is an idiot.

I don't understand what your point it, 625 square kilometers is more than 5 times the size of GTA 5. OUTBRK has one of the largest video game world of the entire industry to fit such massive storms inside it.

I am having such a hard time trying to understand what the point of this post is.
This is how I feel about Left 4 Dead. I taught medicine for thirty years and was nominated three times for the Aperture Science award in profitable research and there is just NO WAY a human being could puke as much as a boomer. Just... no.

What part of 25 miles in all direction are you struggling with? What is the radius of a mature supercell? Could it be...COULD IT BE the entire area of your gameworld?

Are you saying that, a video game is different from real life ? What a frivolous reality we live in ! You also don't need to eat and go to the bathroom in OUTBRK.
Storms are scaled to fit the map, they are still incredibly massive and the immersion is still there. Your chasing decisions matters and it is what matters in a *storm chasing simulator*
Thank god we dont eat.... The situations ive been in this game i would have Chit myself so many times in just the hour ive played.
ive gotten so close to the Funnel it actually moved my car around.
IRL i would have been killed by debris in every chase so far.
