Are there only like 10 different Scenarios?
Hi,

i wonder how many different scenarios are currently ingame? I read something about 80-100 scenarios, but that can not be true. Me and a friend played a couple of games the last days and most of the scenarios we already knew very well.

Today we played 3 rounds and we knew all of them. If we play like 10 rounds, we know 8 of them for sure. That is impossible, if there would be many scenarios.

Could there be some error in the randomizer?

Best Regards,

I personally lost count, we're around ~60 currently live.

Then something could be wrong with the random mechanism? I really wonder, because its mathematical nearly impossible, what we encounter every time when we play together.

In the last 5-10 games, we encuntered multiple same tornado scenarios we knew from a few days back to back. I wonder how this random mechanism works?

Are there some kind of different pools (sorted like how much money the palyers got) or is there one big scenario pool? Or some kind of queue with a reset?

If there are like 60 currently live I don't know how its possible we encounter the same 5-10 scenarios over and over again and not other ones...

Many scenario's have mild alterations to them. It might seem the same, but it might not be.

I can say that no scenario has been the same for me, like one game to a next anyway, nor that I could recall being the exact same of say ~3 games ago.

it takes into account the last 16 scenario all players recently played and the server tried to put all the players into a scenario that all players haven't seen in a while.

I hadn't yet learned that the scenarios are preset when I bought the game. Had a quick play round where I chased after a different storm than the pack and they got in chat to tell me nothing spawns down there. Kind of ruins the game when everyone's memorized the scenarios and will just tell you where the tornadoes are set to spawn.

You went way out of where the storm was even going and I told you that there was not going to be anything down there and then you got pissy and left.

381 hours in the game, has every scenario memorized, can't even understand why someone new would want to actually chase the storms realistically, not knowing precisely where tornadoes will pop up, instead of robotically driving to the best places to score points to buy virtual cars. If this is the kind of person who plays this game, I made a mistake even getting it in the first place.

There's a lot of people who know the scenarios and I play for sport. This is the problem with having preset scenarios is people memorize them. If you don't want to know the scenarios then turn off chat. But for those who do it for study and content, we have the scenarios written down. I just told you there wasn't going to be a tornado down there since you were all the way by fort city when all the storms were north.
