Breaking Window Help

I know this seems like a really weird thing to ask as the point of the game is to try and avoid this situation as best as possible. But, I'm trying to get the achievement where you have to break a window so I can then entirely focus on playing the game the way it's intended to be played. It seems though that I'm just too good at avoiding the hail, even while intentionally core punching as much as I can, haha! Does anyone have any advice on how to break a window? Any help on this would be very much appreciated!

I thought I found a good way to damage my windows during one scenario where I got very close to a tornado (but far enough away where it didn't pull me in) and the hail that was in the hook echo started cracking my windows like crazy, even managed to crack my driver side window. But this method has since proved to be ineffective as I haven't been that close since, and I've been struggling to get even a few cracks since then.

I should also mention I do not have any hail protection bought. I am just using the default car with no add-ons.

Just head to the purple radar signatures BUT, protip, the radar image is just a hair behind what the storm is actually doing because it's not live, its a scan on a delay. So predict AHEAD of the core, not into it.

You'll file that insurance claim soon enough.

Look at the reflectivity radar. Wherever you see a purple spot (or worse), you're bound to run into hail.
But much like AdmiralTigerclaw said, you need to go AHEAD of where you see that purple spot, because the radar refreshes every minute, and the storm never stops!

I break more windows than what I should and I should stop running without a hailcage but, there's about 13 or 14 scenarios where you can break a window easily.

How many times do you have to get hit by the hail to die... Also BTW has anyone ever been struck by lightning? It strikes sooo close to the car sometimes...

You can't die by hail from what I've seen and I've gotten struck several times without dying.

Well, that's good to know. Wouldn't expect hail to be deadly, but the red flashes scared me enough to jump in the car real quick. :) Lightning on the other hand is supposed to be deadly. Should at least disorient you if it strikes you or somewhere close by... would make intercepts a little more risky by increasing the chance that the twister tosses you due to not being able to run to safety as quickly.
