real time weather data?
I have a question regarding future features. Have you considered incorporating a real-time weather simulation system into the game? Utilizing live meteorological data could allow players to experience storms and tornadoes as they are happening in the real world, adding an incredible layer of realism and unpredictability to the gameplay. This feature could also serve as an educational tool, helping players better understand and anticipate severe weather patterns in real-time.

Implementing such a system could dynamically affect the in-game environment, leading to spontaneous and authentic storm-chasing scenarios. Players would need to adapt to changing weather conditions, much like actual storm chasers, which would heighten the sense of realism and excitement. Is this something that the development team has considered or might consider for future updates?

was thinking about how microsoft flight simulator does it

Weirdly enough, simulating tomorrow's storm is more possible for us than thinking about doing real time since the game runs on model data and offline computation on supercomputers. This is something we're planning for post-early access.

Man now thats a cool idea, i really hope they do, and it not just end up another run of the mill game

fascinating you have a real winner on your hand if you can be the "TORNADO SIM" game , i see you creating small towns, i really don't mind a big sandbox arma style game or (truck sim) driving to these tornado destinations

could create tons of content with it too

also prefer a sandbox mode scenario mode is weird because while good for probably 50 minutes you know whats coming, i love the idea of dynamic sandbox scenarios
