How to get powders for 2nd tier weapons?

You can find them in treasure chests, and by acquiring the Clean Salvage skill in the Warden class. :)

This isnt particularly obvious ingame and it feels like this feature is necessary to progress, is there a reason it was locked behind the blessing mechanic?

Yeah, having it locked behind something 1 person needs to spend a limited amount of points in but have it be required to craft better weapons/armor is not good design IMO.

Still, a bunch of us got it done...

Hey Dillem,

Silk cloth is found by killing Undead Vikings, in Ash Beach. We're in the process of working on a Wiki for in-game materials and their locations!

You guys could keep some tooltips about simple things related to the materials, like when hovering above the silk cloth it says "may be found in the ash beach". Relying only in the wiki for most basic infos is not a good thing i supose.

The only real issue i had with the crafting thing is that if you dont put your first 3 blessing points into that (only one person has to) by the time you work out that skill is so important you probably cant level blessings fast enough to defeat the first jotunn, as hes a real pain without access to improved gear. I thought the blessings were meant to let you specialize, i did not realize one set were more important than all the rest and you had to take it first.

I actually liked that I had to find out what dropped what and how to get each material. Made it feel more of an exploration. Why are you guys trying to make the game brain dead?

I'm not saying everything should be obvious where to get it, i just dont like how rare powders are unless you spend blessings, which makes that blessing the most powerful and important one. I like the current system where theres little hints like "the ash beach changes at night".
