Controller support

I see that controller is suggested for playing, and I would like to do so. But my game was defaulting to keyboard and mouse and there were no options to switch between the two. Is there a work-around for this?

If both are plugged in, the controls should automatically switch to whichever you are using.

Last night both were plugged in yet controller input was unresponsive. I will try plugging in controller and trying some things and update this thread with any findings

I always have this same problem. I have two logitech controllers and only one of them works in the game. please HELP, my gf and I would love to play this game.

I am also having this issue. I'm using an xbox 360 wireless controller and it does not work in online but it works in local. It cannot control any menus and shows keyboard control tips.

Just tried it with my Switch Pro controller. Same issue. Also I uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted my computer, and removed my controllers / added them back in to device manager

What I usually see with the xbox wireless controllers in games with autosensing is that rocking the table and causing the mouse the move switches it back and forth.
Also had a controller that had a bit of muck in one of the analog sticks that caused it to drift claiming control before.

These systems usually work, but have some caveats.

Playing the latest build, the game won't recognise wired XBox360 or wired XBox One controllers. Other games do. Controllers appear correctly in windows 10 devices.

same xbox 360 controller it works in local not in online

Same here. Xbox One controller plugged in works for everything but this.
Possible clash with player 1 keyboard + controller?

same, i want to play one person key board, and one persojn controller, but it is not working! I also only have one controller

simple fix
use big picture. it works. I use it when I use my controller
