*BUG* Cant buy anything

i have C77
trying to buy a fishing pole for C52
money is in the bucket. but i cant push the button.

You've said it's a new Save, you've earned some HC, placed them in the bucket, but cannot buy a Fishing Pole...

First, have you tried to quit Hydroneer, restart it, reload the Save and try to purchase it again?!? If you have and it still doesn't work, we'll move on to the next test. How much HC do you have? If you've got more than 57 HC, try going to the Shop at the corner diagonally across from the Ember Cradle Claim (the property you own by default at the start of the game), and purchase the cheapest thing you can find (that may be a Cork and should only cost 5 HC). Make certain you've brought your HC with and, If that works, then try going back and purchasing the Fishing Rod. If it doesn't work, then the Save may be broken...

Had that problem while buying farming stuff for coins. I had over a million C, yet couldn't buy a couple thousand C worth of items. I just deleted the items by driving off with them.

Yeah, without using MODs, trying to purchase massive quantities of equipment can bug out a shop. Try taking everything off the purchase platform and try buying a single item. If that works, purchase batches of 40 to 80 items at a time and see if that work. Wash, rinse, repeat until you get all you need...

Have you tried to buy any other item? Have you dropped the fishing rod onto the buying platform or are you standing on the platform with the rod in your hand?

2. It was a fresh save game
3. restart did not fix
4. I did try other single items.
5. I also tried diffrent items no more then 5 at a time.
6. other shops seems to work. its jsut the starting one
7. try moveing the coins, the item to buy, and myself around.

So, you went from Ember Cradle (EC), the Starter Plot, to the Shop with Pipes, diagonally across from EC, picked up an item, placed it on the purchase platform, put enough HC in the bucket, but nothing happened when you pushed the button?!?

You can have multiple Saves at the same time, so could you Start another New Game, do some hand mining, and try to purchase an Intake Pipe? Just want to see if this affects ALL Saves, or is it just ONE corrupted Save. If it affects all Saves, I have one specific thing to try. If it only affects the one SINGLE Save, we can try something else.

Are you sure the coins you are using in that location are Hydrocoins and not one of the other two currencies ?

I didn't miss it. I said it should fix with a reload. Meaning it isn't a bugged shop button and he's doing something else wrong entirely. In other words, my sneaking suspicion was he did a dummy, not the game.

Today I started a new save after not playing for a couple of months. Just starting in ember and in the last hour I have had to quit to menu 7 times because I kept getting hit with the unable to purchase anything bug. This has happened to me occasionally but never before so often. Restarting the save fixes the bug but anyone know any way to prevent that bug in the first place? BTW, no mods, and it seemed to work fine last time I played.

Farming I take it? If so, stop placing your cart/pallet/whatever on the purchase platform and spamming seeds into it. If you want to use storage for that, do it off the platform then move it over. Seed packets merging on a "sticky" surface are the only way to break the purchase platform to my knowledge and it's limited to just the stores that sell them.

If you are experiencing this in some other way, give me a lead to find it for the devs.

Alright, going to break it down in detail so you know how to avoid it until it can be properly hotfixed.

What you did was had your pan with your coins in it in the shop bucket then added more coins on top. The act of coins merging in that pan while it sits inside the shop coin bucket is breaking the shop. Avoid doing that and you won't have that issue.

The item merging inside pans, carts, pallets, truckbeds, etc is a new feature and had a lot of bugs in testing. We caught a fair deal of them and they were smoothed out before release, but we missed this one and I apologize.
