Rake leveled farm issues
Hey y'all, long time listener, first time caller. Got a weird issue and need some help.
Decided for some wacky reason to use the rake to level out a space in Ember' to make a nice lil' farm while I build up my T1 setups. Everything seemed fine til I left the plot and came back. The ground layer that I had raked down and planted my mater's and carrots had reverted to it's original height, and after clearing the crops I wasn't able to interact with the ground at all in that area. Even after saving and re-loading. I was able to get access to my farm after re-raking the area again .. but I went to fix a busted pipe, and now my carrots are covered again.

Are there any currently 'known' bugs w/ the rake. I know it's been a little touchy since it came out - but not like this. I blame my ocd for wanting a nice lil' farm and discovering this issue.

Also just in case - it was a clean start w/o mods. RIP my farm ocd.

I've noticed this as well, on farm plots but also around foundations. Laid a nice little concrete area for all my machines, levelled out all the ground around it, and when I came back later all the ground had risen up slightly but still seemed to be level. I think there must be a discrepancy between what the rake considers "ground level" and what the rest of the game does, and when you're not paying attention it goes around reverting everything to the "proper" level.

Must be healthy soil full of worms and moles.:steammocking:
Just rake the whole site, let it rise and then make your farm.

Oh this bug is still not fixed?
Yep the ground can "un-rake" itself randomly and revert to default height.

It's been a problem since Farming update.

It gets worse sometimes the shifting ground will cause visible seams and might even stop being solid upon save load (you will fall through if you were standing on diggable soil upon save load)

EDIT:

Thank you for sharing this with us!! Hopefully it'll be sorted out in an upcoming patch or so. For a temp fix I'm going to dig out the raked in area and just put a house over it for now and try not to use the rake til we get a dev fix. And I'll DEF remember not to log out ontop of it - just in case! :D - Thanks again!
