Due to the amount of physics involved in the game and the Graphics Engine (Unreal Engine 4 - UE4), there's too much data to be transmitted and keep the game in sync. Therefore, until there is a complete rewrite of the game to at least UE5 (minimum), the only option is Splitscreen.
Scratch another few sales i guess.
As for multiplayer, it's not as simple as porting it to UE5.. there's a lot more to it, which I go into detail over in the multiplayer FAQ pinned to this forum
I would love to play it, I'm personally at a point in my life where I never really play these sort of games myself only with a friend. I can understand UE5 being a potential upgrade, due to the chaos physics over the traditional UE4 methods. This upgrade would definitely be a lot of work. especially when the game has such a solid foundation already. So i wouldn't put it past the devs to not bother.
'If you do, i commend your commitment' lol
looks like a fantastic game, very impressed. also congrats on the 600k sales, I should Think due to the nature of the game and popularity of the genre, you'll hit 1M in no time.
Uhh? You could get 600,002 copies sold if you made it fully multiplayer, so me and my friend dont have to stare at what eatchother is doing, and use a controller and a mouse to play... You want help with the development, we would be happy to help, and have TONS of AI services to do so as well as hands on work.
