Local 4 player split screen

I'm trying to play with my two siblings but for some reason the game only allows for two local players? I don't think this should be an issue to add because I can easily connect up to four controllers to my computer. I'm no developer though, but after I read through what you guys have said about multiplayer this should be part of the game I feel like.

I know, what I'm saying is if it is possible to add split screen players from another computer it should be possible to add them locally

yea I already know it doesn't work I'm saying it should be a feature and easy to add
