(Devs pls read this) Idea: Trailers
So the Trailer is the hydro truck's truck bed but with medium sized tires, and a hitch for more trailers to attach, and it has the mk1 hydro truck's color,

The camping trailer is the same hyrdro truck trailer but a camper, and it should have a spare tire, and no furniture so you can make your own

The Water/Lava transport trailer is a water/lava tank trailer that has a large tank on a regular trailer that transports lava and water

The quad trailer should have the cart capacity

The trailers should be bought at the scrapyard and there should be another panclang brother next to the trailer shop and when you come near him he says: Want Trailer? We Have Trailer

Anyway thats my suggestions Byeeeee

Why are so many people suddenly asking for Trailers for the Hydro/Lava Truck?!? There is no NEED for any Trailers. You can "hook" Carts onto the back of the Hydro/Lava Truck already. I regularly hook 2 Carts, side-by-side, onto the back of my Truck and it works great. On one occasion I've even gotten 3 Carts to work, but it take proper spacing and skill.

To connect a Cart to the Truck, just walk up to the back of the Truck and jump, releasing the Cart while in mid-air. The Cart will connect to the Truck and move as part of the Truck...

Because evreyone wants more cargo, Lets say your carrying LOADS of junk to your base but you need more but a cart cant help, This is why we need trailers

Dont understand this either, i've been stacking like 10-12 pallets full of materials in the back of my hydrotruck no problem, just aim up above the truck and drop in a full pallet, they all merge through each other, then you unload whole pallets at the other end.

Only issue is carry to much, when i moved my base from Ember Cradle to South Hope i loaded up 12 pallets of machines, tools, pipes and logic stuff, all was great until i got in the cab... S...L...I...D...E...S...H...O...W... yep killed the frame rate to about 5-8fps and the hydrotruck was bucking and bouncing all the way to South Hope, bit like the Air-Ride cars bounce in GTA lol.

10 pallets was a good amount and had no issues then, loading up 48 foundation blocks on multiple pallets and trucking home in one trip is a hell of a saving in going back and forth.

If you dont know, the pallet can be rotated in all axis with the usual keys so its aligned flat above the bed of the truck and drop in, simples.

I posted this in another discussion and am quoting it here as it's relevant:
One thing you may not have taken into account with both Carts and Trucks. There's no collision on things put into the bed of the Truck nor onto a Cart. Yes, there are tricks to getting it right, but I've loaded several dozen Conveyors onto a Cart and, similarly onto the bed of the Truck. It cannot collide until it's dropped onto the bed of either, so one must have the spacing right and jump high enough to clear the top, but I've been towing Carts with Vertical Conveyors and Sorting Conveyors sticking out at ALL SORTS of angles. So long as a majority of the weight is over the Cart and not off the edge, it'll stay in the Cart. I'm not certain if I have a screenshot of it, but I'll try to find it...

That being said, when I'm transporting a large number of a SPECIFIC Item, I generally use the Bulk Buy Crate MOD. Yes, use of the MOD disables Achievements on any Save that's loaded, but I have had Crates with 600 to 1k Straight Pipes in them, loaded onto a Cart. Then I have placed another Crate with 600+ Elbow Pipes, a third Crate with 600+ T-Pipes, etc. I've had 6 to 8 Crates stacked onto a Cart and they don't stick up into the air, as the Collision is turned off when they drop onto the Cart, so they overlap and take up the space slightly larger than the footprint of ONE Crate.
EDIT: FYI, I checked my screenshots and none of them had a loaded Cart in the images. I got close, in that I found one, but only the Shafts of the Cart were in the image...

See what?!?

If you're waiting for a screenshot, I'll get you one. It'll be on Volcalidus, but the reality is the same. I've just not yet taken a screenshot that included a Cart connected to my Truck...

Unfortunately, Steam has changed it's screenshot system, but has yet to update their documentation. I can CREATE the Screenshot, which I have done, and I can upload it to the Cloud, set to Public, which I have done. Unfortunately, how to build a LINK to said uploaded Screenshot is about as clear as heavy, dark, MUD. So I cannot post a link until either someone who has figured it out can give me explicit directions, or Steam updates its documentation...

That being said, the two most recent screenshots uploaded to my Cloud Account and set to Public are of a Truck with a Cart connected as a Trailer.

Yes, they changed some things with the screenshots.
Once the shot is made public you find the button on the bottom right that says something like view on my profile.
Once the pic is visible there is a link at the top left that you copy
Thats what you paste into your comment.
Seems overly complicated just to embed a pic
I still can't figure out how to put the new video snippets in so that they show up.

Well, I can follow your directions up to a certain point, but I still cannot get a proper link that I can past into a Discussion Post. I do not see the "link at the top left" that you reference.

OK, I found it, now. It's IMMEDIATELY under the Steam Menu Bar...

Here are the screenshots I took:

That Cart is now connected to the Truck. If I get into the Truck and drive it, the Cart moves as part of the Truck, to the point that if I go over the top of a hill, the Cart will stick out behind the Truck at the same angle as pictured...
