Game doesn’t download (DISK WRITE ERROR)

When I try download the game it starts downloading but after a little bit it stops and says “disk write error”.

I have plenty of storage and I also downloaded other games to make sure it wasn’t my hard drive.

I can’t find anything online relating to this error so I assume it’s linked to this game

So far, you're the only person who's reported the issue. Is your drive an SSD, an M.2 SSD, or an HDD?!? You need to check your drive integrity and back up your data as it sounds like your drive has bad "sectors". In the case of any type of SSD, if the drive is failing, it'll fail spectacularly with almost ZERO chance of recovery. That is why I say to make certain your data is backed up...

If it's an HDD that's failing, when it does finally fail, there's a chance of recovery of data, unless the data is in a bad sector of the drive...

@Sparkz, the main executable for Hydroneer is called mining.exe. That triggers a number of AV programs. Please try temporarily disabling your AV software, installing Hydroneer, and then making an exception for the folders where Hydroneer is located, more specifically the executables where the program is installed and the Save Folders.
