Crafting Steps (Weapons):
- Make sure you have a Furnace, Anvil, Blacksmith Hammer, Pan (see below), and Saw (see below) at hand.
- Left-Click on the Anvil until you get the picture of the desired Weapon displayed. It'll identify HOW MANY Bar you'll need to create that weapon (1 for Dagger, 2 for Sword, etc.)
- Place Iron Bar in Furnace and let it sit for a minute or two (If creating a weapon that requires multiple Bars, it is suggested to place the Bar(s) in a Pan and place the Pan with Bar(s) onto the Furnace).
- If a Single Bar was placed in a Pan and put on the Furnace and more than one Bar is needed, use the Saw to split the Bar(s) and remove excess Bar(s) from the Pan.
- After the Bar (or Pan with Bars) has been sitting in the furnace for a minute or three (it should be glowing orange to orange-red), pick up the Bar (if a single Bar) or the Pan and immediately place it on the Anvil.
- Pick up the Blacksmith Hammer and hit the Anvil with it. You should hear a clear "TING" and the Bar should turn into the correct Weapon.
Caveats to watch for: The Bar or Pan MUST be flat on the Anvil. If it's tilted it won't work. The Bar(s) must be sufficiently heated. If it doesn't work, place the Bar(s) or the Pan with Bars back on the Furnace for a longer period of time. It SHOULD only take a minute or so, but definitely not more than 3 or 4 minutes. After creating the Weapon and a Pan was used, you should be able to pick up the Pan and find the Weapon "stuck" to the Pan. If you pick up the Weapon, it'll detach from the Pan.Crafting Steps (Jewelry):
- Make sure you have a Furnace, Anvil, Blacksmith Hammer, Pan (highly recommended - see below), and Saw (highly recommended - see below) at hand.
- Left-Click on the Anvil until you get the picture of the desired Jewelery (Ring or Necklace) displayed. It'll identify HOW MANY Bar you'll need to create that weapon (1 for Ring, 2 for Necklace, etc.)
- Place the selected Gem in a Pan and add a Gold Bar and put on the Furnace. If making a Necklace, use the Saw to split the Bar into two equal weight Bars.
- After the Pan with the Gem and Bar(s) has been sitting in the furnace for a minute or three (the Bar(s) should be glowing orange to orange-red), pick up the Pan and immediately place it on the Anvil.
- Pick up the Blacksmith Hammer and hit the Anvil with it. You should hear a clear "TING" and the Bar should turn into the correct Jewelery.
