Best land plot to buy?

I have a lot of money right now but I want to spend it right. Is their a "best plot of land" or are they all pretty equal? Also do different land plots have different ore rates?

Bridgepour shows the depth of the different claims.

The deeper you dig, the bigger is your mining output.
Dig as deep as you can as fast as you can for maximum output for your mining operation.

Find a balance between depth and the price of the claim and decide for yourself.
Maybe the loot tables for the more rare ores/gems are different, but I don't think that they talked about this yet.

The new snow claim is awesome. It's gigantic, has Tier 3 dirt and is the most expensive claim with 7700.

I'm running 21x T1 drills and 31x T2 drills on it and I'm using only like 3% of the whole claim.

Well actually, Icehelm is the most expensive claim at 7200 and Snowrune Falls coming in at a close second at 7000. And how do you even mine T3 dirt? Thought miners only did T2

I paid 7700. But maybe I remember that wrong. Bought all claims at once.

I'm mining Tier 2 dirt directly on top of the Tier 3 dirt layer, ready for when Tier 3 update hits
