Mini Nuke destroyed bedrock

So.......I may have drop several mini nuke for mining large space underground, but i am satisfy with the result and try to dig using pick axe, i realized it's actually already bedrock and mini nuke put another 7 block depth under the bed rock.

Is this normal or am i encountering a bug?

That isn't bedrock that is T3 dirt.

ahhh i didn't know there is tier 3 dirt, do we have Tier 3 shovel as well or that can only be blow by explosives?

Tier 3 tools and machines are being developed, so not yet added to the game.

I don't see why you want to go down there, unless you want to prepare for Tier 3 update.
Tier 2 machines don't work there.

Because i like my base as lower as possible for tier 2 machine , and i digging the tier 3 level for storage or living quarter
