sharks help

I spent almost 4 hours trying to get a shark of size 1.5 with a tier 8 fishing rod for the king quests, does anyone know how i could get them quickly??

Just keep fishing. It is all RNG. So it is all about numbers. It took me a long time of playing to finally finish all the fishing. Just depends on your maps RNG. Doesn't matter where or when you fish. Just gotta keep chugging away at it.

Are you sure it is a shark? I thought it was a lobster.

Sorry you are correct, the first two games I played it was a lobster, the third game that I am playing now it's a shark. Took me 10 mins with tier 8 rod. Good luck.

Nope, I'm on day 5 of fishing and nothing else. Got a fish sorter, still no 1.5 weight shark...

I just fished it in the starting plot off the bridge haha. took me like 3 hours. no traps used just high level fishing rod.
