pressure tanks
is there any difference in pressure tanks? they all say the same thing, restore pressure to intake levels. it would seem like the only thing that matters is the intake then. a iron pressure tank would the same as corestone based on the description

You need to use each different tank with the different pipes. Using a higher tank with lower pipes causes to much pressure. That is why there are different kinds.

Iron Pipe pressures are exceeded by Cloutium or Corestone Intake Pressures, so you'd end up with a Pipe Leak if it could even bring it up to that level. I haven't tested it (and won't be able to until next week as my OS has gotten damaged and will need to be reinstalled), so I don't know if it would even work. Best to just put Cloutium Pressure Tanks on a Cloutium Pipe run and Corestone on a Corestone Pipe run...

so what if i have a pressure leak? i mean i can understand that if you have a perfectly balanced system. i dont. and over pressure doesnt seem to be a thing if you have your water filtered.
