Scrap Vehicles?

I have 500-600 pipes in my truck and I need to scrap the pipes but i don't know if it will scrap the truck. Does anyone know if the scrapper scraps vehicles?

As far as I know, vehicles CANNOT be scrapped. Just make certain there's NOTHING ELSE in your vehicle as anything scrapable will be turned into Scrap. That would include Hydrocoins, Tokens, Pans, Buckets, or anything else that just happens to be in the vehicle. I'm pretty certain that Pallets are not scrapable, but I don't know about Carts.

From what I've read , no, the vehicle should be safe, on Bastion island anyway. There is some mention of not getting any thing else you don't want to lose near it on the DLC island. I finally just built a garage for my old truck since I can't get rid of it. Makes a good place to store things in till I get around to scrapping them later.

Can confirm carts don't scrap, and now I have too many of them, but they do make great storage.

So hydro coins can be scrapped. I accidentally tested this. It happened to about 12k worth for me. Maybe it was a fluke, but it did happen.

yeah i accidentally scrapped my 800k but it was alright i had more. this is why you dont keep all your money in one spot

yeah, HC is pretty small time stuff after a while. I threw a million in the wishing well once and that boot is on a pedestal in my little house. And its probably the wrong size to fit me.

Y'all do realize that shouldn't effect the value of the scrap? That boot should be worth whatever you dropped in the well, and the scrap piece from the tokens should be the value of the tokens. I could be wrong, but even then, you can smelt scrap into a bar to double its value.

the scrap block with my 800k and all my 300-400 pipes was worth 2.9k no it does not have the same value im not sure about the boot though

Now, that IS a bummer. I don't remember all the details of the math, but I do know that smelting scrap into a bar will outright double the value... split it into thirds and make a sword to increase the value further. You probably won't get back to the 1mil+ you lost, but maybe 10k?
