As to the Mine, it looks like you've got 4 Miners, with room to add more, feeding to a Havester that leads directly to a Sorter setup with Gold, Shard, Iron, and Cloutium Smelters. That appears to continue to a Polisher Hook that feeds to Gem Compressors, I believe. A perfectly legit setup. The main difference that I'd make, if it was my Mine Site would be to shrink the space that contains the equipment to the bare minimum, to minimize the time that a piece of Ore or a Gem takes to get into a Smelter or Gem Compressor. While the quantity of Items that you're placing on the Conveyor is not high, think of what will happen when you have 10 times as many Miners in your Mine...
Each Mine only NEEDS a single Havester, but needs space for the Miners. Those Miners must feed into the Harvester, and then the Harvested Item needs to get to it's destination. Build your Mine in whatever pattern and layout you like, but a busy Mine needs to be efficient, as the Dirt, Raw Ore, Raw Gems, and Polished Gems will place an increasing load on the GPU...
EDIT: At a guess, I'm thinking you're using the Claim at South Hope?!?
