How does one refuel the Hydro Cropper?
We have been trying to fill the beast for 3 hours now... Tried Pans, buckets, watering can, pipe direct to the tank. We managed to get 1 drip to go in accidentally but other than that, graphically it looks as if the drops are splashing off the side even when the drop dot is directly in the middle of the tank.

Other than sprinklers, what is the trick?

Right. I don't have those yet... So no other way to fill the thing?

Also... funny thing is if you are holding a pipe and it touches the Hydro Cropper... It makes a DING sound and then the pipe is stuck in your hand. Only way to put it down is to reload the game. HAHAHA

Pan or Bucket is the most simple way to refill any vehicle.

Second easiest is to run a Pipe to a location of your choice and designate it as a Refueling Station. Just make the Pipe high enough off the ground to clear the vehicles' top, and put a Valve on it. Leave the Valve off, but make sure the end of the Pipe can drip onto the Water Tank on top of the vehicle. Park the vehicle such that the Water Tank is under the end of the Pipe, and turn on the water. It'll drip into the Water Tank and you can then turn it off when the tank is full...

A third option is the Sprinkler, but that gets expensive and requires your Farm to be productive enough to purchase a spare Sprinkler. Sprinklers need to be purchased with Farm Guild Tokens, which takes a while to be able to afford them...

Thank you. Though I am aware of how it is supposed to work. However, finagling the bucket, pan, watering can, or even pipes seems to be a test of luck and skill with the Hydro Cropper. After 4 hours of running buckets, pans, watering can, and restarting the game when pipes got stuck in my hands I gave up trying to fill it... Maybe they'll fix it at some point.

There's what appears to be a 'ledge' as a deco part of the mesh right over the fill spot. The water from a container seems to hit that more often than not and the hit box for filling it is EXTREMELY small. I got lucky twice about an hour in and hit the spot... never hit it again after that.

try to line up the shadow for aiming instead of the reticle
(and if you are already in a shadowy area you're out of luck I guess.. Try aiming for 10 cm off to the left or right)

I've also noticed that the cropper has a really unforgiving hitbox for refuelling. An overhead dripper doesn't work for this vehicle even though it works for every other vehicle in the game.

The best thing to use is the sprinkler, which refuels any vehicle that has a fuel tank within its range of operation, but the sprinkler is the second most expensive item in the farming guild so it's understandable if that's not viable for you.

The only other thing I can recommend is using the watering can. It works just like the bucket and pan except it holds four drops of water instead of just one. This lets you spend more time fiddling with it and less time running back and forth filling up.

Needless to say: this isn't ideal. I hope this gets updated soon.
