That being said, the Castle Quests ARE the most valuable, but it requires both Prospector AND Farming Quests to be completed before one can advance to the next round of Quests.
l have 11000
the digging dont stop at T2 he destroy all to T3
The are a couple of quests that are very lucrative, providing a total of approximately 19k prospecting guild tokens. However, you do not need to do a single farming quest to access them. They are indeed leading up to the King's quest, and progressing to that later on will also require farming and fishing, besides mining. Those 19k-ish tokens will be more than enough to purchase the digging vehicle (the hydromole) and set up a small T3 mine, provided you have the additional resources for the drills, harvester and (highly recommended) intake boosters.
Bastion Keep is located west of Ember Cradle (the starting plot), up the hill. That's where the jeweler is, you've probably sold stuff there already. If you head right, as you are facing the jeweler table, you will enter the fortified area. You need to take the starting quest in the chain from the guard to the right, he needs a gold dagger of 200 weight, and gives 805 tokens on completion. After you turn it in, the doors to the tower will open, and inside you will have access to two more quests, one for farming, one for prospecting. The prospecting quest will reward you with 18k tokens,
This quest will require 5000 iron, 1000 gold (both perfectly reasonable amounts for a decent starter build in Ember Cradle) AND 400 corestone. Problem is, you can't get corestone in Ember Cradle with drills. You can get the occasional corestone nugget by panning, but it will take you ages to gather 400 weight. So, in order to do this quest, you need a decent sized T2 setup somewhere else. And that means that you will first have to dig yourself a mine (literally any other plot than the starting one will do) using other means. You could do it with a hydro-roller (cheap and slow) or nukes (expensive, but faster to get a workable area deep underground). As a reference, if you place your drills at the bottom level of T2 dirt (14 blocks down), you can get the 400 corestone in about one hour using 5 T2 (cloutium) drills.
Digging deep is the way to go.
Happy mining!
L.E. Other than that, the more prospecting guild quests you do, the better the rewards will get (up tp 2-3k tokens per quest). You still might need some amount of cloutium and corestone to fulfill the more highly rewarding quests.
Firstly, it appears that if you never proc a single corestone on that save yet, the quests won't ask for them with the exception of the kings quest line.
There is also appears to be some hidden scaler beyond just clearing more quests. I'm not sure what it is per say, but I have noted difference between how quickly mine scaled vs others. My best guess is it's tied to how many drills you have bonked out in Icehelm.
I also noted that moving up to crafting t2 drills caused npcs to start requesting raw ore at t2 depth values as well. Even if one was never placed and utilized.
Without making this an even bigger wall of text, I was able to clear all the achievements and bring my token per quest amount up to 1k-2.5k in all of 10 quest completions (2 batches of 5).
tl;dr. Craft a small army of drills for EC beforehand and you should have an easier time of it.
