- Logic Saw Hook. (bug?)

after i place the saw with no water running( the saw will never stop) and if you pick it up again with belt /instant lag ... bug?

Do you mean that the saw won't stop spinning, no matter what? Did you try picking up the Logic Saw Hook without a belt attached, and dropping it on the ground? Also, saving and returning to menu then reloading the game might help with the lag for a while.

Allow me to direct you to this post, there's a few of us having some issues with the Logic Saw Hook already. Maybe we can aggregate our experiences, find a way to reproduce the bugs and provide some useful info to the higher-ups.

if on pipe saw won't stop spinning if its not a bug ok yet there is no water to make it spin.
\lag is gone must have been something else

As others said, the saw constantly runs, without water. I have lag spikes with the logic saw as well.

Just bought a saw yesterday and just now hooked it up to finish my workshop setup... and it doesn't work at all... New start from a few days ago, no mods since I'm farming achievements.

T1 pipe setup in EC. Pressure was a bit low, <90, but while troubleshooting I added a pressure tank a couple segments before it.. it still doesn't work. Using a keypad, removed all logic and rebuilt, doesn't work. Removed and replaced the saw, the connecting belts, the connecting pipes... still doesn't work.

I'm at a loss.

Checking Discord... appears a few others are also having issues.

Edit- From Discord, someone suggested resetting the saw logic-
Clear keypad, input "0", enter. Clear keypad, input "value", enter.

It fixed my issue and the saw now works properly.

2nd Edit-
Saw stopped working again as I had to tweak the setup and move stuff around a little.
Resetting the logic didn't work.
I think the fix is placing the saw. Quitting to desktop. Then reloading the game and the saw works.

h lordE... if .... saw is spinning (not a bug i think)... on key pad hit stop stop # go go it works fine .i have a shut off valve so after i set key pad... when ready ill turn on then off .

Yes, qutting to desktop and restarting the game fixed it for me too.
