Cooking Quests, for the first time...
Ok so I need some advice ab the cooking in the game.

is this like... a patience thing DURING the cooking process? Do I need to add anything other than just the required veggies? I think I may have missed a step and I know I have all of the tools as well, but, if anyone could let me know, that would be, oh, so incredible!

Thanks in advance for reading and taking your time!

Once you put the veggies in the pot, you have to add water in order to make soup. :steamhappy:

I had trouble with adding the ingredients to already hot water. Not sure what the deal was but sometimes they would just sit like that. So I got in the habit of leaving a fresh pot of water next to each stove then drop in ingredients and only then put them on the stove.

Ya, you have to do ingredients, and water before heating. I don't think it matters the order of ingredients or water first.

You can leave a pre-filled pot on the stove. That way the veggies turn into soup right away, when you dump them in the water.

Oh, didn't know. thought it had to be cold water to make it work. Thanks for the info!!

Odd, I've had it just not convert enough times I started putting the pot to the side until the ingredients are in.

I built a tap i leave pot on the stove almost 24/h

I open the valve for 1 sec to drip water in it and drop processed veggies in it. Shortly after soup is ready.

Keep in mind the water needs to heat up for veggies inside the pot to turn into soup. It only cooks instantly if drop veggies in while water is already really hot.

Not sure what it was. When I put veg in already hot water (sitting on the stove for hours) it wouldn't make soup. Probably user error, who knows. I just figured out if I left it cold then loaded it up and put it on the stove it would convert once it got hot.
