Guild token quests
Still in new mode here.

Let's say there is an NPC and their scroll indicates a 200 pound gold bar upper left, and a knife in the lower middle. I assume this means they want a 200 pound knife made of gold.

Questions:
1) How exact is the weight requirement? Is anything above 200 lbs ok? Must it be close, but slightly more is ok? Or must it be exactly 200 lbs?

2) I carried a slightly greater than 200 gold knife to the NPC, but I wasn't able to make a transaction. Is it correct that I carry the item (E key) and just walk up to the NPC?

Any weight above the requested amount is fiine as long as the item and it's materials are correct.

And yea hold item in your hand (E) and press E again when facing the NPC who's order you want to cash in.

Thanks.

Are the individual quests available indefinitely until fulfilled or do they reset after some time period?

If you grabbed the scroll it stays forever untill completed or if scroll is scrapped/shredded

Otherwise the quests expire and cycle over ingame days

The one issue that I've run into with weight variances, IN GENERAL, is that it has to be equal to or greater than (=>) the requested weight.

My specific issue that I ran into was when it requested mixed metals in an Axe or Dagger. I received an order for a 78g Iron Bar and a 78g Gold Bar formed into an Axe. I hadn't gotten the Logic Saw Hook, yet, so I tried to get an Iron Bar as close to but greater than 78g, and similarly with the Gold Bar. I had a 81.xg Iron and 84.xg Gold Bar. The resultant Axe was unacceptable. Later, once I had the Saw Hook, I make an exact weight set of Bars and the resultant Axe was accepted. I do NOT know if it's a proportion issue or if the mixed metal Items need to be EXACT weight...

If the weight is above any amount it will count for completing the quest unless you messed up the order of materials.

Pay attention to the segments. If quest asks for golden hilt and iron blade axe. Do that cause if you do iron hilt but golden blade the axe is unacceptable regardless of weight.

I can turn weapons higher than with no issues it works the same as with soups in regards of acceptable weight.

The Table Saw mod needs to be integrated into the base game with the new "need specific weight" quests...

I think the Devs were working on that.
May not see it in this week's hotfix, but probably soon-ish.

I expect they get rid of the .5wt requirement.
