They are simple to make and once you stock the spanner throwers with spanners you can go several real time hours before anything breaks.
With the way I build my Repair Logic, each Circuit takes 3 Elbow Cables, either 3 or 5 Straight Cables, 1 Flip Switch, 1 Logic Reader, and 1 Wrench Thrower. Each Wrench Thrower can hold up to 4 Repair Kits.
If you have further questions or need pictures, let us know.
I never had such issues and i built that circuit on several different saves.
Perhaps you installed something wrong or forgot the Flip hook cause that causes all the spanners to be launched.
It's working as intended if you build it right.

And yep he also mentions how to set this up so you don't waste all spanners at once in one go.
Yep that was most likely the problem.
With this exact setup i and Hybridsteel used filters need to be on the side where the wrench throwers are pointing.
Or else it won't work properly.
If you do it correctly there are no issues with this exact circuit.
Yep tho honestly why would you?
Did the devs fix the filters to work in tandem when putting 4 filters on all sides of same pipe?
Cause last i checked all 4 filters drain durability at same time but only filter the water once if they are put on same pipe on all sides (as if you only had one filter working)
While putting 5 filters in a row progressivley filters the water to max 100% and the filters degrade at different speeds saving on repairs.
So not sure how you would even make a working repair circut for all 4 filters on all sides of a single pipe piece without help of mods :P
Maybe some weird bug on my end then but yea still it's more repair efficient to make a row of filters on one side and row actually makes it possible to build a simple repair circuit.
