EDIT: The way I did it, in the early part of the game, I'd place the Pan in the river, use the shovel to scoop Dirt into the Pan and apply the Brush. Repeat that process until the application of the Brush caused a Nugget or two to fall out of the Pan, replace the Nuggets in the Pan, and take the Pan to the Jeweler. After I sold the contents (Shards don't sell and you WANT to keep them), I'd pick up the money I made, drop it into the Pan, take it down to the Shop, and drop the Hydrocoins (HC) into the Shop Bucket where funds to pay off any purchases would go. I'd leave the HC there and then I'd be easily able to go purchase something if I needed it. During early play of a Save, MOST purchases will be in the Pipe Shop, but I'd eventually bring a supply across the street to purchase the Harvester and the first Miner. Anything past the first Miner will need to be produced at the Big Forge, located at Icehelm.
