For example, you need to provide logic with power.

i try to use that logic tnt but no matter what i do i can't get them to explode

did you try just attaching it to a switch/button?
degasi Dec 21, 2022 @ 5:39pm
Logic doesn't require "power". It's more of a on/off(1/0) system.
A switch or button or sensor thing sends a "1" through the system to something. Like a light or tnt and activates it/turns it on.

yes i have a switch end it dont work

Can you clarify what type of circuit you're trying to build, what you've put in place, and what's happening or not happening?

One thing you can try, is to place your switch and a single piece of Straight Logic Cable. When you flip the switch, you should see (and hear) the electricity "drip" out of the Logic Cable. It does need to be PLACED, not dropped to operate it... A screenshot of what you're doing would help.

I have TNT. A piece of Logic cable and then a switch. but when i use that switch nothing happens.
None of those Logic things work.
not the counter, Magnet or whatever.
And everything is placed NOT dropped

OK, then try the test that I proposed. Place the switch and connect a single Straight Logic Cable to it. When you flip the switch, (if it's the switch that is either pointed up or pointed horizontally) what happens? You need to be pointed directly at the SWITCH LEVER, not the generic switch component, and the lever should move. If it doesn't move, adjust your aim and try again. Let us know what happens.

maybe very simple solution:
buy the claim you want to place T.N.T before you try to use it
not yours = nothing happens

it is fixs. loaded en nieuw game en now it works...

Glad to hear. If you want to find out what happened with your original Save, maybe go over to the Hydroneer Discord Server and talk there. They may ask for a copy of the faulty game and may be able to figure out what's going on. This would confirm that it's a Save issue and verify that it's not something on your PC... ...and may be able to rescue the Save.

Yes is an option but I have already started again. so now it works then I think it's good wasn't that far on my first game .. but thanks for thinking along and happy holidays to all

The most i use logic for is to turn off a parts of my pipe chain from a station, all other uses and tricks just go over my head.

One of the biggest Logic Circuitry "tricks' is to install automated Repair Logic Circuitry for a Mine. As far as I know, the only equipment, Farm or Mine, that gets damaged by "dirty" Water is the Water Filters themselves, the Harvester, and the Miner(s). Once a Mine goes past about 3 Miners and a Harvester, it's more cost effective to install a set of 5 Water Filters in a row, to prevent the Miners and Harvesters from taking damage (each Filter reduces damage past it by 20% - 5 Filters = ZERO damage). The Filters then become the ONLY place where damage can occur, with the first filter taking the most damage, the second will take 20% less, etc. Therefore Tool Kits will need to be purchased to repair them. When the Mine is small, manual repair works, as a 100% damaged Water Filter stops the whole Mine. Once the physical size/length of the Mine grows large enough, automated Repair keep the Mine running whenever it's turned on, and the Wrench Throwers just need to be kept stocked with Wrenches (a Took Kit is 5 Wrenches).

There are NUMEROUS Discussions going into the Parts of a Repair Circuit, so I won't go into details beyond the necessary components of each Circuit (multiply by 5 for total quantities as each Filter will need a Repair Circuit):
  • 4 x Straight Cable
  • 3 x Elbow Cable
  • 1 x Flip Switch
  • 1 x Detector
  • 1 x Wrench Thrower
  • 4 x Tool Kits
That's it per circuit. Feel free to search the Discussions for Repair Circuit or Repair Circuitry and you'll find Screenshots of how to design it.

That's how my auto repair thingy looks like. 5 x for 5 filters in a row.
The double arrow piece (Logic Flip Hook) on one cable, and it will auto repair when the filter reaches 0. (the display is optional)
