made a new world, played for about four hours, saved to take a break for a bit, go back in, completely empty. I try again, again four hours, saved to go to bed, check it to make sure, again completely empty.

Save directory? World folders are there.

Problem with the folders? They're all entirely empty. twelve different folders with just folders.

Bottom of the main directory, wrongly named files (worldnameLevel.sav) (worldnamePlayer.sav)for both worlds. Fresh install, new worlds, touched nothing. So WHY?! I think making sure saves worked properly would be the main focus. Unless you have experience with this, you're not gonna have a clue and it's going to ruin your experience. In order to get a save to run I had to go in, copy the save, paste it in the proper folder, and rename it.

I'll pin a picture, but world names aren't the most friendly.

For both of you, check your drives and report back how much FREE Space is available. If there is insufficient free space, it may have resulted in the saves being broken. Additionally, please check to see if you're uploading to the Steam Cloud (I believe it's a checkbox on the Save/Load screen). If so, check your Steam Cloud save space for available free space...

500 gigs available, and less than 1% steam cloud space used while not being uploaded

Hey everyone,

It seems some users, we've not yet been able to correlate why, sometimes their saves aren't saving, if they have "Cloud Save" enabled on their save, in-game.

Disabling "Cloud Save" when loading your save, or making a new one, should allow your save to function correctly, until we fix the issue.
