Difference between land plots?

So is there an amount difference for say the top layer of soil per plot?
Or are ores distributed by depth?
Does each plot have different resource amounts? (example: one plot has more cloutium/gems/etc over resorces etc)

Im choosing my second plot of land, but i can afford any one of them currently. But even though they're different prices, would it hurt going straight to the most expensive one?

I did notice they all have different ways for acquiring water. The Cheapest one has under ground ponds apparently (the sign says)

Any recommendations?
