Unable to place Splitter Conveyor
I have tried to place it at each end of my conveyor line and in between conveyors, rotated it all four ways and it will not let me place it at any spot. It will only allow me to place it if it is occupying the same square as a pipe, as in the T pipe is sticking out the top of the conveyor.

Conveyors HAVE to be placed on pipes now

The conveyor was placed on top of the pipe but it wouldn't allow me to place it.

I would be glad to upload screenshots but I have not done it before so I'm not sure how to go about it.

Both of the regular conveyors are working and I have tried rotating the sorter a full 180 with the same results.

Okay that's interesting. For me I thought all Conveyor belts have to be placed ON pipes, not above like you did with the 1. and 3. Conveyor and now trying with the splitter.

The question is now what's the intended way? Because then either the placement of the Splitter is bugged, or the placement of the other belts.

but for a workaround, just place all conveyors directly on pipes, this worked for me so far for every belt type.

"Hooks on to pipes" == Place in same block as pipe.

this^

splitters occupy the same space that the pipe is in.

Thank you.

I thought I was doing something wrong since the straight conveyor worked on top of the pipe.

As far as I can tell, that is a bug... but who knows at the moment.

Huh, that's interesting. So you made T pipes with their outputs facing upward, and placed your conveyors on top of them. As though the conveyors have a port facing downward and accept the water input from the pipe one block below them. However this does not work with splitter conveyors..

I didn't even know you could do that. I have always placed my pipes running -through- the conveyor block, never that upward one block away thing as you might connect the port of a machine.

Interesting. Yeah you'll always have good luck though if you just run pipes in the same plane directly through the conveyors.

I have to say the other system (placing conveyors on top of pipes) would offer some very interesting setup, too.

But one thin I don't like atm: Since you now need to lay down pipes first and then conveyor belts, you now have a loss of pressure on every single conveyor belt piece. So for long belts you need to somehow squeeze a pressure booster inbetween.

Before the update it was just fine having a pressure booster right bevor the first belt.

The conveyor does not connect the the T pipe underneath, you still have the water dripping but the straight conveyor does work with this set up.

The T pipes don't actually connect to the straight conveyor, you still have the water dripping but it is enough to run the conveyor.

They don't actually connect but still work? So weird!

i've tried placing a splitter on a straight pipe facing horizontal and vertical, a corner pipe in every configuration, and on t-pipes but no pipe works with the splitter i've tried on top of pipe and in the pipe for every configuration.

I just recently placed a lot of splitters on pipes. And was facing no issues. Can you pls share some Screenshots while you try to place them?
