How to I turn on the standing lantern?

LMB picks it up, right click doesent do anything and E picks it up too.

no the standing one, I don't know the name in english. The lantern ... post?

edit: It seems like my game is lacking an "use" key, bc I can't get the drill to work too..

Try resetting your keybinds. I saw the dev post a few times that the keybind file can get corrupted or something.

I didn't and I reset it.

I think the problem is that the key for use AND pickup is the same.

Use the construction hammer to lock it so you can only use it.

They aren't by default, that's the thing :)

E is Pickup,
Left Click is Use.

Could you send a screenshot of your keybinds page in the settings menu, please?

I have my game in german though. Next to the E key it says "Pickup/drop/use"
LMB isnt even binded and Q isnt binded for drop, but it does drop

Hmm, that's very odd.

Sometimes keybindings can bug out and need to be hard reset. To do this.

- Close the game
- Open the Run prompt by holding the WINDOWS key and pressing R.
- Type the line below into the box (or copy/paste) then hit ENTER.
%localappdata%\Mining\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
- Delete the 'input.ini' file and relaunch the game.

Now it looks very weird. And E is still for use, drop and pickup. I uploaded the screenshot


edit: But it actually fixed it, thank you! LMB is no longer dropping and picking up, which I have to get used to but its better that way.

isnt the lantern post automatic?
