I would love for these long ramps to be functional for the vehicles. It makes so much sense that it would but the moment you use it, WEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
I didn't mind it so much the first few times it happened but it gets old after a bit. Sorry for any aggression. I'm irritated by the lack of vehicle physics. Yes I know it's a new game. But since vehicles play such a large role mid to late game, I think they should be somewhat of a priority
Yea I saw a video where someone was using ramps and assumed it would work. Prior to the ramps I did discover that the excavator works much better if you mine while backing up, put the drill down to the lowest setting and slowly backup and it'll mine a somewhat clean patch of dirt as opposed to the behavior when driving forward where a slight bump will result in broken terrain you have to unstuck out of.
Breaking into claim with the excavator is always a pain at first
This is useful actually. Kinda can't do this with south hope though. Not now.
If you lay some flat tin sheet before the ramp so the excavator is not bumping up something you should not go to the moon.
Community Helper.
That won't help as the issue is when you're driving down it not onto it.
However, after you dig down to the bottom and set up your drills, it is pretty much useless.
The best intermediate solution is just to place ramps and reload the game. I can confirm that saving and loading back in works. I tried it. It's the best we got for now
