I forget what the limit is, but I *think* a worth of 3 million is safe; once you cross a certain weight value, it's a brick.
There is unfortunately a maximum size of item in Hydroneer.
2,147,483,647 is the "maximum positive value for a 32-bit signed binary integer". Hydroneer uses an integer for most values, of which is then divided by 100 to create the decimal places.
In Hydroneers' case, this means the maximum value anything can be is 21,474,836.47
Best option for you, is to display that bad boy on a Golden Head Statue in your base somewhere, take pride in the fact you've made something so ridiculously expensive, and every time you look at it, you'll remember to not make something so expensive again haha.
Congratulations again on your super valuable necklace :D

This way the players can always sell it ;)
So... bad design and "you deal with it"? You have to rebuild everything, for this game to be worth something. As we are in a topic of bad, bad design... You know, that for many 1000s of years we have pouches, sacks and pockets for money at least, right? And we have TWO hands for much longer than that. Stop building on bad design. Pay your technological debt or you will drown in it.
Hey,
Sounds like you're going a bit off topic, but just to clear something up.
The choice for Hydroneer to have no inventory / pocket / wallet and only "one hand" to hold objects are a couple of unique traits which, over 250,000 players, have all come to love and appreciate.
Just because players have been accustomed to inventories and wallets, and "two hands", in other video games, that doesn't mean all games are required to have these features.
In regards to this; "You have to rebuild everything, for this game to be worth something." - fun fact, we are rebuilding everything, from the ground up. We're taking into account all feedback and actioning all bug reports. 2.0 will be released later this year, not only will it include most bugs being squashed, but it's also bringing in a tonne of optimisations (hopefully lowering the minimum entry requirements), 1-4 player co-operative multiplayer,
a new progression system, new areas, new digsites, new tools and equipment, NPC's and more. Be sure to check out the post on the Bridgepour Wiki for other information that I may have missed. https://bridgepour.com/blog/13
Hopefully this helps :)
