silly question but did you flip the switch to the drill

Are the drills sparking? If so they're broken and you need a tool bag to repair them.

Uninstalling/reinstalling rarely does anything to help this game. Can you post a screenshot of your drill setup?

1. Press the Steam screenshot key in-game (for me it's F12)
2. Right click the screenshot in you Steam library, select "Manage screenshots"
3. In the window that pops up, select the screenshots you want to upload, click upload
4. Click "View library" (I think that's what the button is called)
5. Click on the screenshot you want to post
6. Copy the URL (http://...) for the screenshot, NOT your online library
7. Paste the URL in a post
8. Repeat steps 5 through 7 for additional screenshots you've uploaded that you'd like to post

It might seem silly in response and perhaps need not be said, but have you noticed that there is a lever to operate to turn them on?

each valve would need to be turned on, though the ones in the sand probably have no water in them anyway.., they do need to be in the water to produce water, I know the game will let you place them in the dirt like that for some reason, but they wont produce any water when you do. If you want to test, take the valve out and see if the pump drips or not. no drip = no water

all of them did drip water before i put the on off valve but i did move them to the water to see if that was the problem it was not

For starters, I don't see any pressure tanks going to the drills, which will reduce their functionality. Providing the water works, pickax the dirt away from under the drills and then strategically place a couple shovels immediately underneath each of them so that you can still reach the next ones without risking stacking the dirt up in front or along side the drills instead of underneath.

Since I can see the legs underneath the drills on the left, I'm going to assume they don't have enough dirt under them. As for the one on the right, if there isn't dirt in key locations underneath, no amount of dirt cocoon will help. :)

i was focused on the right one ive watch youtube on how to do it i do the same thing and nothing no mater how much dirt i put there and it was working before with no pressure tank

drill on the right side of screen shot has too much dirt on/around it, that may be part of the issue, the upper body of the drill cant be in the dirt or they stop working. its one of those "catch-22" deals with the drills, they need enough dirt to work, but too much and they'll either stop or not work...

Goliaths consume dirt. After 3 minutes all stand still.
