You can try running the game with WINE for mac, should be top result if you google "mac wine"

I don't want to be that guy that trash talks mac but even with wine, it doesn't run very well. It tends to cap at 30 fps with a base level MAC PRO, A ten thousand dollar computer(three of my friends tested with The Forest, which is not demanding)
