Water intake problems
Good day!
I love your game! But I have some problems with the water intake pipes. They are working very strangely – at their initial setup they give water, but sometimes they just stop doing that. And the machinery stops working because it has no water. (I managed to deal with that by taking the pipe out and sticking it back – works for some time)
And a latest thing – the pipes are working but only while there is nothing connected to them, then they stop. Meanwhile all the sounds are there – all the ticking and no water. Water-pressure-pipe says that there is pressure, but still nothing works.

Interesting problems. Might I suggest that you head over to the developer's Discord channel? They ARE likely to see it here, but since it's pretty much a game-breaking bug, you might want to double down as it were and report it there too, just in case. The Discord invite link should be posted in one of the pinned topics, but if you need an invite I can post one. ^_^

How many intakes on a single line? 1 is ideal and all that is necessary. Does it happen with no pipes connected and just the one intake?

There aren't any sparks coming off of any of your pipes or connected devices by any chance? That's the only thing I can think of, if so, buy a repair kit and fix the broken pipe.

Beyond that, make sure the valves are open, check that the pressure booster doors are closed.

Since the last update I have noticed that placing a valve on a water outlet and removing it sometimes makes it now "dry". Hoping out of the game and then hopping back in always corrects this. I can not make it happen at will though which is normally when i will start hunting down how to report a bug.

i have a similar problem, and i think it is caused by the mass ore moving i am doing. before, my factory was doing great, with only earrape as a problem due to collisons. but now, every time i move my ore, the smelter stops working along with the intake pipes.

also, i don't think pipes take damage
