Truck flies away with all my stuff

So at my first playthrough I had lots of fun and did a semi-automated mining system that was kinda crappy. I put all my coins in the truck and went to buy new stuff. After entering the truck and drove a little it flipped upside down. I tried to unstuck and it flew off to another planet. I thought it sucked but I figured that I might as well start a new fresh save and make a better system.

After doing a huge grind in my new save, I put all my coins in the truck. Same thing happens. My truck flies to another planet and I get a whitescreen after pressing unstuck a couple of times. Many hours wasted... so sad...

Happen to me as well, Have lost half of the load witch I had on it.

Nearly lost all of my stuff in the truck. Spent a good half hour flipping end over end in the air, quitting out, loading back up, unstuck, recall to vehicle, flip end over end for a few more minutes, quit out, load back, unstuck, recall vehicle...

The unstuck button wasn't working while the truck was flipping. Finally managed to get the unstuck button to work while I was IN the truck and got the truck back on the ground.

The Recall Vehicle button really should bring the truck to you rather than you to the truck.

I've had the dreaded trucknado a couple times. It seems like the issue is when somthing from the bed clips into the wheel.
Reset the truck and hit Q real quick to get out of the truck while its on the ground, check for anything in the bed clipping out of the bed and into the rear wheel, remove that item, and that has fixed it for me twice now.

@cargasm this isnt an issue that can be fixed like that. The root of the problem is the recall nearest vehicle button itself, currently there is no way to sell your vehicles, so if you have an excavator and tractor and the tractor goes into space when you recall you will only go to the excavator no matter where you are in the map. This could be solved with a cycle vehicle button or having a location that lets you summon vehicles to it like a garage space or something. Maybe that could be an item that is in the scrapyard like those blocks on the ground that indicate a parking spot. Maybe it has a UI or something that shows all your purchased vehicles and it lets you assign them to specific summon spots.
