So what do we do with boots now?
I am fishing for start up funds, and I noticed that the fish merchant isn't taking the boots anymore. Went over to the scrap yard and they don't want them either.

So is there a special place for them now or are we just supposed to just yeet them into the deepest abyss from whence they came?

It's annoying cuz I got like 10 boots just sitting in my truck...

Yeah I'd like to know this too. Only thing I haven't tried is taking them to a jeweler.

EDIT: Yep, they're worth 1HC each at the jeweler.

I just put all mine into a tub and took them when I had about 150 of them. You probably don't want to throw them into the water because it's just going to add to your object count in the world and cause lag (if you are disposing of 100's of them that way).

I usually fish from the back of my truck with a tub under the drop point, so the boots and all the small fish end up in the tub and it's easy enough to deal with them. I wouldn't want to have to deal with them 1 at a time though, that's for sure. Too much hassle for only 1 coin each.

Sooooooo I was super curious as to what happens when you throw coins in the well at the jeweler at the starting place. Well depending on how many coins you throw in you will get a comically large boot, you can resell the boot for how ever many coins you threw into the well.
