help with o4 trial

I just completed it and recorded it. I will upload video on how I beat it in here (will probably be up when I finish writing this):

I made two mistakes in that video:
1. I should've put the T2 gems into upper towers earlier.
2. I should've upgraded them into dual (two-color) gems later on for more damage.

Also my actions may be unbearably slow, as I wasn't sure if this will work, and was still thinking of other possible strategies.

The strategy in short:
Create a T4 dual purple-blue gem with a lot of purple (yes, T4, you need to keep a lot of mana). Put it into the lower tower.
Put two of the T2 gems you got into two left upper towers, make them shoot the barricades.
Build walls that route monsters from the nest right to the orb away from it.

Start the game.

Observe the lower nest, when something comes out of it you need to bomb it down.
First with P1 gems to also whittle the armor on the nest. Then switch to B1 gems, as they do more damage.
When a giant comes out tear its armor first with P1, then use B1s to kill it like the rest.
All bombs should be aimed onto both the building and mobs, until you are able to finish it (the nest) off. Margin for error is very small.

Around the moment when you are dome bombing the building, the upper barricades should be done. Route most of the monster there with walls.
The left entrance and the left nest cannot be routed there, so keep the T4 gem in the lower tower, and build new gems for the two towers around pylon.
Also at this point you should build walls to lenghten the path around the lower gem.

Simple solution:

Close all ways to the orb eccept the middle left one.
Build 2 grade 3 gems from your inventory and bomb the middle nest down (the cheapest)
Build a grade 4 blue purple gem to shot the barricade on the upper left corner. The gem wasps from destroying the nest are enough to kill the monsters till the barricade is down. Close now the path through the destroyed nest and the rest is trivial.

Pretty sure this is the intended solution. It's much more effective: you are all set by wave 5, and don't need to worry about your reaction speed. +1, thanks a lot.

Finally completed O4 trial. The nest dies at wave 12 or 13 and need to be able to gem bomb monsters until then. Best to have good attention to monsters coming out of the nest and use gem bombs in a way they hit the monster and the nest at the same time. In the beginning the g1 purple gems bombed on the nest to reduce its armor.
